Chris recently recorded in the beautiful Air Edel Studio 1 with the amazingly talented folk group Tir Eolas for a currently unannounced video game project. The session was engineered and mixed by the brilliant Nick Taylor. Some photos from the session can be seen below:
This autumn Chris will be producing and arranging tracks to be heard by over 10 million people for this years The X Factor. Working with Metrophonic and leading UK music producer Graham Stack he will producing, arranging and programming tracks for the live finals of this years blockbuster ITV show.
Working with Adelphoi Music and Wonder Creative, Chris recently completed work on three idents and menu beds for the new re-branding and global identity of Renault’s true entertainment brand RTV. The challenge was to realise Renault’s ambition to be a true entertainment brand and embrace their values of dynamism, playfulness and spontaneity.
Chris recently finished working with MassiveMusic London on the moving piano score to the IPA Bronze Award Winning film, Teenage, for health brand Abbott Nutrition. The beautiful film was shot by the London-based photographer and director Sophie Ebrard and produced by Wyatt-Clarke & Jones.
Chris is currently working as composer on the AAA game Need for Speed: Most Wanted with Criterion Games/Electronic Arts. Electronic Arts have officially confirmed the existence of Need for Speed: Most Wanted as part of the publisher’s E3 line-up announcement.
Established 40 years ago, Air-Edel is one of the world´s leading music companies, representing composers, arrangers, music editors and music supervisors world-wide. The company has offices based in LA and central London (including recording studios with picture sync facilities).
Chris was recently commissioned by one of the worlds leading music production companies, MassiveMusic, to create original compositions for a full channel rebranding of UKTV Watch. The brief from DixonBaxi was to help create a much more captivating, disruptive and unexpected experience for the viewer.
After working with Bin Weevils on multiple projects in 2011 Chris was commissioned to write and record a new theme tune for the leading online childrens’ world. Together with London based vocalist and songwriter Kat Gillham, Chris co-composed the track Fall In Flip Out, which has been downloaded over a million times and appears in-game on the nest Jukebox.

Chris composed and produced tracks for Altitude’s three TV Drama albums, TV Drama: Strings & Beats, heroic contest, hard justice, a cry for freedom, who will prevail? Let the orchestral strings rip through your heart and feel the power of gods’ crushing rhythm; TV Drama: Alternative, an inspired indie and experimental soundtrack to cutting-edge programming; and TV Drama: Weird & Wonder, we live in a strange world, with odd people living bizarre lives. But how do they sound?.
Early Birds is a film about Mila, a 12-year-old rebellious girl who has a secret crush on her 40 year old neighbour and coach, Sam. When Mila finds out that he’s moving away to Italy for at least a year, she conceives the plan to go with him. The score required a minimalist a sensitive approach to writing, enhancing the atmosphere of the film and subtlety punctuating the important moments.
