Completed composing work for the pilot episode of children’s television show Beshasha

December 2010

Chris was asked by Delicious Digital to compose music for the pilot episode of children’s show Beshasha.  The show follows the adventures of a cute baby camel called Beshasha and her friends as they play, explore and learn around their home in the desert. The show produced in the United Arab Emirates is aimed at very young children aged 1 to 8 and conveys learning through the songs and music that Chris has created.

Visited Mexico to record music and soundscapes from the Day Of The Dead celebrations for an in production documentary

October has seen Chris traveling around Mexico to record music and soundscapes from the beautiful and exciting Day of the Dead celebrations.  People go to cemeteries to be with the souls of the departed and build private altars containing the favorite foods and beverages as well as photos and memorabilia of the departed. The intent is to encourage visits by the souls, so that the souls will hear the prayers and the comments of the living directed to them. Celebrations can take a humorous tone, as celebrants remember funny events and anecdotes about the departed


Appointed lead sound designer and additional music composer for two upcoming AAA games for the hugely popular Doctor Who franchise

After working together on upcoming games Beach Buzzin’ Chopper and Horrid Henry’s Horrid Adventure, Asylum Entertainment have appointed Chris lead sound designer and additional music composer for their two upcoming AAA games of the hugely popular Doctor Who franchise.  Theses two games for the Nintendo Wii and DS systems are due for release in late October 2010 and are both set to be worldwide best sellers.

Finished sound design work for kids Nintendo DS computer game Horrid Henry’s Horrid Adventure

Chris has finished work as the lead sound designer on Asylum Entertainment’s soon to be released childrens game Horrid Henry’s Horrid Adventure, based on the multi million selling book series and massively successful TV show.  Horrid Henry’s Horrid Adventure is a fun, fast and funny, action-puzzle game where the player takes the lead role of Henry himself.

Hired to design all music and sound design for the new Playstation 3 & PSP computer game Beach Buzzin’ Chopper

Awarding winning London based developer Asylum Entertainment recently hired Chris to create all music and sound design for their upcoming PlayStation 3 and PSP arcade game Beach Buzzin’ Chopper.  The game is fast, funny and extreme with tongue-in-cheek and over-the-top art, animation, music and sound effects.  The player controls a ‘copter that is buzzin’ private beaches for bikini babes and handsome hunks. Some of the babes and hunks are already taken but others are happy to climb onboard.  Everything the player does is a buzz and the game never lets you rest!

This months Royal College of Music magazine, Upbeat, features Chris in its special edition celebrating the ways in which past and present students use their extraordinary musical skills to take music out into the wider world, and share their love of music with people from every possible background.


Completed scoring work on two National Geographic documentaries and was appointed composer on two further projects

May 2010

Chris completed composing and recording of tracks for the upcoming SAB Media produced National Geographic documentaries Mezaiyna and Falconry Kids.  After the two scores were heard by executive producers Chris was appointed to create music for another two in production projects.  The first new project will discuss the points raised in the above documentary Mezaiyna in a more child friendly manner.  While the second is to document the Yemeni refugees caught up in Middle East’s forgotten war.
